Our holiday cottages, apartments and log cabins are located on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park only 1 mile from Tavistock. As a collection they can sleep up to 30 people and so your friends and family can join you for your winter or summer break and yet have their own space.

Here at my home

Special for all the right reasons

I feel it is important to provide you with a lovely holiday that is special for all the right reasons, from the moment you arrive, to the time you have to leave! The full weekly prices include a bottle of wine and fresh flowers on the table for your arrival. Also adult bathrobes and hand and bath towels are included in these prices too.

Some of our cottage, apartments and log cabins include all the following:

  • Electric, gas and oil (ALL)
  • Natural Spring Water Supply (ALL)
  • Underfloor heating throughout
  • Fully fitted kitchens (cooker, microwave and fridge etc) (ALL)
  • 32” Smart TVs
  • DVD and CD players
  • Hairdryer and torch
  • Smoke detectors and Carbon Monoxide Detectors (checked and recorded before your arrival)(ALL)
  • No smoking inside ‘all’ units (smoking is welcome anywhere outside or under our Gazebo)(ALL)
  • Night light outside front door (stays on all night)
  • Parking for one car near to the property (extra cars can park in our main car park)(ALL)

Dogs

All my properties welcome at least one dog, some welcome two or three but there is a charge of £25 per dog per week.

The stone properties

All the stone properties on the fishery itself have Free WIFI, Freeview TV, underfloor or central heating, a washer machine and car parking.

Pond Cottage

Sleeps 2+1

An exquisite small cottage perfect for that special holiday or honeymoon, overlooking chickens roaming freely in the farmyard. Not suitable for toddlers.

Entrance into open plan sitting /dining room with well-equipped fitted kitchen area with electric cooker, microwave and smart T.V. Downstairs there is a shower room with shower cubicle, wash hand basin and W.C. One bedroom with a double bed.

The Snug Cottage

This single storey barn conversion is situated in the centre of the courtyard.

Entrance into the hallway with a glass partition. On the right is an open plan sitting/dining room with a fitted kitchen area; complete with an electric cooker, microwave and washing machine. There is a T.V. with Freeview. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a single bed. One step leads up to the Bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Clearbrook Barn Cottage

This renovated barn has delightful views across the Heron Lakes from the lounge, lower ground floor bedroom and garden. Entrance into oak kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. Four steps lead up to an open plan lounge with two leather sofas with four built in recliners.

On the terrace is a 7 seater hot tub with 63 jets, air massage system, LED lights and bluetooth music connectivity.

This single storey barn conversion is a delightful and an ideal open plan holiday home all on one level.

Entrance into the hallway. On the left is an open plan sitting/dining room with a well equipped fitted kitchen area. Shower room with walk in shower, basin and WC. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds.

The Lodge

Sleeps 2 + 1 small dog

A stunning Log Cabin located next to Osprey Lake. It has a king size bed, with sofa, TV, dining table and a separate kitchen. Walk in Shower and WC. It also has own terrace with furniture overlooking the picnic area.

Trout ‘n’ Tipple Flats

Our Trout n Tipple Pub Premises Opposite The Fishery Has 3 Flats. Flat 1 has two bedrooms and a full kitchen with a Freeview Tv. Please ring for availability and short break and weekly booking prices.

Oak Gazebo With BBQ

Patio tables under the oak gazebo, with gardens beyond

Our stunning hand built Oak Gazebo stands in the main courtyard with its natural slate roof and cast aluminium guttering. It offers shelter from the sun or rain and it makes any evening a special occasion.

Our fenced children’s play area was purposely built in 2011 to provide children with a safe environment to play in. It boasts a basket ball ring and football area.
